We hope you all had a restful and fun holiday! Coming off the Grade National Championship last month where we secured over 30 percent of all K-5 National awards (see video below) as well as our holiday camps and a little down time, we're rested and ready to jump into a great trio of upcoming events.

Then, join our Winter Festivals on January 20th, taking place at PS 33 & Trevor Day in Manhattan and PS 230 in Brooklyn. Our festivals are great opportunities to wrap a full day of training and rated games into a relaxed and fun camp-like atmosphere.

January also features our biggest end-of-semester team tournaments, the Brooklyn & Manhattan Cups. These give a whole new meaning to the concept of the team tournament, featuring a ten-board scoring system where the winning team in each borough takes home the famous trophies.

Congratulations to our Top 100 players for the month of January (click here to see our Top 50 per Grade lists as well) which now includes 20+ players over 1500, and several players pushing towards 2000 + USCF (expert)
