Please note that a rating of 1500+ USCF rating is required to sign up for the Elite Chess Academy. Players under 1500 USCF should attend our camp at our Midtown, UES or Brooklyn Location.
At the time of attendance if player's peak rating is not the required 1500+ USCF , you will not meet the threshold and will be assigned to one of our other training location.
In partnership with the world famous Elite Chess Club, we are thrilled to announce The Elite Chess Club Academy, an intensive scholastic training program led by our team of ICN Master Coaches. We are also excited to announce 1800+ USCF focus group will be led by GM Alex Lenderman. This is an opportunity to train with our very best. The Elite Chess Academy will focus on high-level training for scholastic players who have reached a rating of 1500 + USCF or higher. The Elite Academy will run throughout the summer.
Camp Expectation: No Phone Policy, students will be asked to place cell phones and smart watches in their bags. Exceptions — Cell Phones/Watches are allowed during field trips
Players will be grouped based on their appropriate level.
Approximate rating of 1500 + USCF required.
Additional sports, activities and social play will be included throughout each day.
Pizza lunch & snack included. Players are welcome to bring lunch as well.
All sessions are peanut-free!
Open to all players from Kindergarten -12th grade.
Park play will occur.
Enrollment is based on a first-come basis.

8:45 - 9:00 Drop Off
9:00 - 9:45 - Gather & Social Play
9:45 - 11:30 - Team Groupings, Lessons & 1st USCF Rated Game (G45, D5)
12:00 - 1:30 - Lunch (Pizza will be provided), Park Play, Social Chess Play
1:30 - 3:30 - 2nd USCF Rated Game (G45, D5) & Group Post-Mortem Game Review (Social Chess Play, Individual Coaching Opportunities).
2:30 - 3:30 - Optional Blitz tournament tournament
3:30 - 4:30 - Snack, Social Chess Play, Daily Contests
4:30 - 5:00 - Pick-up

Camp Safety:
We will cap player registration each week (first-come first-served).
We will have hand-sanitizing stations and air-filtration units throughout the club.
Parents will be required to check in and drop-off at the main entrance.
Attendees and staff will have access to the camp facilities.
