Congratulations to our July Star Student: Adrian Sommerstein of P.S. 130!

Adrian has spent his summer at our Brooklyn Summer Chess Camp. During his time, Adrian has been training every week, gaining over 500 USCF rating points since the start of the summer! He is looking to be the first Lower School Brooklyn Lion to break 1000 and show the rest of P.S. 130 that Lower School can also compete at the highest level.

Adrian finished second out of the whole entire school population during the school year in ChessKid participation (over 8000 PLW!) 

He is looking to start the Fall semester at a blazing start. Adrian hopes to lead his team at the Grade and Elementary Nationals and bring more chess titles to The Parkside School.
