We are thrilled to announce our half day training camp!

On Thursday November 6 (half day) all players are welcome to join us for a chess training camp day.

All students will gather directly in the cafeteria for 2-USCF rated matches play, social play, game analysis, yard play, awards, team fun and much more!

Event Details:

• Students will be picked up directly in school at 11:30 am.

• Parents can pick up their children between 4:45 - 5:00 pm in the school yard.
  There will be no additional late pickup options.

• Coaches will work directly with the school to ensure all participating Chelsea Prep children are brought to the cafeteria directly after school.

Approximate Camp Schedule:

Half Day 11:30 AM - 5:00 PM

• 11:30 - 12:00 School Pick Up

  • 11:30 - 12:00 - Gather, Social Play and Art Studio

  • 12:00 - 12:45 - 1st USCF Rated Game (G25, D5)

  • 12:45 - 1:45 - Lunch (Pizza will be provided), Park Play, Social Chess Play

  • 1:45 - 2:25 - 2nd USCF Rated Game (G25, D5)

  • 2:25 - 3:00 - Game Review (Social Chess Play and Individual Coaching Opportunities)

  • 3:00 - 3:50 - Bug House, Blitz and Art Studio

  • 3:50 - 4:30 - Snack Time & Social Chess Play

  • 4:30 - 5:00 - Pick-up

  Entrance is in the school yard (26th Street and 9th Avenue)

Tournament Specifics:

• 2 Rounds, G25, D5

• The Top 3 players in each section will be recognized!

• Come in team gear (represent your school)
