About Saturday Manhattan Midtown East Scholastic Grand Prix
Our In-Person Saturday Manhattan Midtown East Scholastic Grand Prix provides the (weekly) opportunity to play three equally rated players in both a competitive and supportive environment.
Players will be paired in groups of fours, starting with our 4 highest rated players based on their LIVE rating and continuing down to our lowest rated players. We will be use only live OTB ratings
Please note that we will use LIVE OTB ratings for pairing purposes.
Tournament Details:
Scholastic Grand Prix (AM/PM Session)
Lunch will only be served to students registered for a full AM+PM session (Parents are welcome to pack NUT FREE home lunch & snack)

Drop-off Event
The event is a drop-off event. Parents are required to drop-off kids at the school entrance at 9:00am and pick them up at the conclusion of the event.

Things to Note:
TD has discretion to move players to avoid sibling pairing
No more than 2 players from the same school in the same Group.
No byes permitted.
Lunch will not be served for half sessions.
All players must have a valid USCF ID #.
Please bring your own clocks.
Pairings will be based on live ratings.
If a player is late for the start of a round (indicated by the TD) their clock will be started or forfeited.
2nd and 3rd rounds will begin at the completion of your section’s previous round.
TDs reserve the right to modify quads to avoid sibling pairing or to accommodate special requests (TD discretion)
100 point rating variance to accommodate sibling players
