ICN's Star Student

Congratulations to our December Star Student: Khodi Outlaw.

Khodi exemplifies our team's mantra of "Train - Compete - Repeat".

She joined us this semester as we kicked off the Harlem Academy Chess Club & Team, and she has quickly proved to be a leader with her consistent weekly work on ChessKid, outside of attending chess sessions.

Her all-time puzzle attempts is 2138 - that’s an average of almost 200 puzzles each week over the last 3 months!

She had attended our November Team Tournament and will continue to look for opportunities to improve her skills as much as she has exceeded expectations with her ChessKid studies. Over the past month, she has led the team through her strong work ethic, and we look forward to seeing how far her growth takes her.
