Year-End Chess Festivals (June 19th)
Dear Chess Friends & Families:
We've reached the end of another wonderful school year (please enjoy our Cup videos below), and we're planning to go out with a few bangs.
We're looking forward first of all to our End of Year Festivals next Thursday, June 19:
Midtown West FestivalUpper East Side FestivalBrooklyn FestivalElite Clubhouse Festival
For those families whose school year is already concluded, next week we will be hosting a full week Art + Chess pop-up camp at our St Luke's site, run by our resident art partner, George Skelcher (LESartLab).

The day will feature art activities alongside chess, classic kids movies, and field trips. My kids can't wait!
Also, on Saturday, June 21st, at Elite Clubhouse, we'll be hosting our 2nd Annual ICN Year-End Championship. This is where all the top players across NYC are invited to compete in four rounds of G/45 d5. We will crown winners in the 1000+, 1400+, and 1800+ sections.

We are finally about to enter into our coming nine-week Summer Chess Camps for 2025.
We will be offering ONE Summer Warm-Up camp day this year, on Friday, June 27th: we will have camps at two sites in Brooklyn: at PS 230, as well as our new Park Slope site at Greenwood Baptist (for this one day only).
In Manhattan, our usual sites will run: our PS 33 in Chelsea camp, our Upper East Side site at Trevor Day.
And for this day only, our Elite Clubhouse at Luke's on 46th (for 1200+ USCF) will be limited to 20 kids.
Thanks for a great year all!
See you soon,
Ian
