Two Time Nigerian Women’s Chess Champion, Perpetual Ogbiyoyo, Visits Summer Camps

It was our pleasure to welcome, two time Nigerian Women’s Chess Champion, Perpetual Ogbiyoyo, to our Manhattan & Brooklyn Summer Camps.

Perpetual shared her chess story and how she first learned the game of chess at the age of 19. Quickly gaining National recognition, highlighted by two Women's National Chess Championships!

She shared how in the game of chess, each side has 17 pieces. 16 pieces you play with, and yourself, who is responsible for making each move.

Perpetual also signed autographs, and enjoyed a few games of blitz chess.
