The 8th Annual New York State Girls Championship Recap

ICN Girls Participated in the 8th Annual All Girls New York State Chess Championships! 

With girls representing teams from PS 10, PS 11, PS 20, PS 31, PS 32, PS 33, PS 34, PS 39, PS 40, PS 59, PS 77, PS 118, PS 130M, PS 130K, PS 166, PS 184, PS 198, PS 230, PS 527, PS 889, NEST+m, Basis Independent Brooklyn and Basis Independent Manhattan the all-girls atmosphere created strong team spirit and highly motivated players.  The number of girls engaging in competitive chess continues to soar and we could not be more happy to support initiatives such as the All Girls State Championships!

Lower Lab claimed the K-6, Basis Independent Brooklyn claimed K-12 U1000 and NEST+m claimed K-3 Under 600 All Girls State Championship Places!

PS 10, PS 11, PS 20, PS 31, PS 32, PS 33, PS 34, PS 39, PS 40, PS 59, PS 77, PS 118, PS 130M, PS 130K, PS 166, PS 184, PS 198, PS 230, PS 527, PS 889, NEST+m, Basis Independent Brooklyn and Basis Independent Manhattan also found their way to the podium to be recognized with Individual State Championship Awards!
