Brooklyn Lions Receive Official Proclamations!

Our PS 130 Brooklyn Lions were recognized for their National Championship success with an official proclamation from NY State assemblyman Bobby Carroll. @am_robert.carroll @ps130pta

This past May, 15 Brooklyn Lions traveled to Columbus Ohio for their teams 1st ever Elementary National Chess Championship.

After three full days of hard fought competition they emerged the winners in the K-5 U900 section.

This is an incredible achievement, representing a community dedicated to working hard together.
