Lower Lab Fall Chess Tournament (Results & Photos)

This past Sunday we officially launched our competitive season with a full house at the Lower Lab Fall Chess Tournament! With over 170 rated players participating, our season’s 1st team invitational was a huge success!

Players and teams from across New York City competed both individually and as teams across five sections of competitive play.

Many players participated for their very first time, while others battled tough the entire day against Nationally ranked competition.

In the end, the spirit of the tournament was highly competitive but everyone also enjoyed a warm and welcoming community vibe where players and teams came together to share in a great day of chess.
