Brooklyn Cup hosted PS 230

Last weekend, 186 students competed for the borough's most hotly contested award, the Brooklyn Cup.

17 teams from NYC schools played 3 rounds, with PS 130K earning the right to display the trophy for the coming year, with 25.5 total team points and 4 perfect scores. PS 10 came in second place, and Basis Independent Brooklyn in third. This wraps a fantastic year of study and competition for all our schools, and sets the stage for the fun of our year end Chess Festival.

We want to thank our students, parents, coaches, and schools for such a fantastic last year, and look forward to the year to come.

We hope you'll join us for the Festival on June 19th, and over the summer at one of our camp locations throughout the city.

Congratulations to everyone who came out and played, this weekend and this year!
