Manhattan Cup hosted PS 130M

Last weekend, more than 269 students competed for the borough's most hotly contested award, the Manhattan Cup.

18 teams from NYC schools played 3 rounds, with PS 33 earning the right to display the trophy for the coming year, with 26 points and 5 perfect scores. NEST+m came in second place, and PS 59 in third.

This wraps a fantastic year of study and competition for all our schools, and sets the stage for the fun of our year end Chess Festival.

We want to thank our students, parents, coaches, and schools for such a fantastic last year, and look forward to the year to come. We hope you'll join us for the Festival on June 19th, and over the summer at one of our camp locations throughout the city.

Congratulations to everyone who came out and played, this weekend and this year!
