Manhattan UES Summer Training Camps:
All Impact Coaching Network camps are peanut-free!
For our complete beginners, advancing tournament players, and elite national championship competitors, our Summer Chess Training Camps provide a perfect combination of USCF rated match play, group analysis, individual coaching opportunities, daily themed lectures, dedicated art studios, social play, park play, sports, and plenty of summer camp fun.
Led by our team of ICN coaches, masters and grand masters our Summer Chess Training Camps provide a unique Team-First camp training approach which is dedicated to building and preparing players and teams for City, State & National Competitions.
*Upper East Side Camp offers 7 full weeks of Summer Training.
*Camp Expectation: No Phone Policy, students will be asked to place cell phones and smart watches in their bags. Exceptions — Cell Phones/Watches are allowed during field trips
*Players will be grouped based on their appropriate level.
*Additional sports, activities and social play will be included throughout each day.
*Pizza lunch & snack included. Campers are welcome to bring lunch as well.
* Campers encouraged to bring Water Bottles
* All camps are peanut-free!
* Park play will be hosted at camp
* Lunch & snack included
*Additional training camp weeks at available at our other locations (Week 8 & 9 - Midtown & Brooklyn)
Approximate Camp Schedule:
8:45 AM - 5:00 PM
8:45 - 9:00 Drop Off
9:00 - 9:45 - Gather & Social Play
9:45 - 11:30 - Team Groupings, Lessons & 1st USCF Rated Game (G25, D5)
12:00 - 1:30 - Lunch (Pizza will be provided), Park Play, Social Chess Play
1:30 - 2:45 - 2nd USCF Rated Game & Group Post-Mortem Game Review (Social Chess Play, Individual Coaching Opportunities).
2:30 - 3:30 - Optional Blitz tournament tournament
3:50 - 4:30 - Snack Time & Social Chess Play
4:30 - 4:45 - Pick-up
4:45 - 5:00 - Late Pick-up
Summer Grouping Options:
Rookie (All players interested in learning/no previous knowledge required) - Absolute Beginners/Newcomers
Novice (All players with USCF Rating Under 300) - Beginners - USCFRequired
Intermediate U700 (All players with USCF Rating Under 700) - USCF Required
Advancing - U1000 (All players with USCF Rating Under 1000) - USCF Required
1000+ - USCF Required

Camp Rates:
Single Day Rate =
Weekly Rate = $699
Four Week Summer Camp Deal (Email Specific Dates) = $2,479

Camp Safety:
We will cap player registration each week (first come first served).
Parents will be required to check in and drop-off at the main entrance. Only campers and staff will have access to the camp facilities.
