2021 Grade Nationals Report
WE ARE BACK!
The 2021 USCF K-12 Grade Nationals held in Orlando was a very special weekend for ICN players.
It’s been two years since our last Grade Nationals due to the quarantine and it’s been an honor to be back in-person over a physical chess board, competing at the highest level.
42 students across 6 ICN programs fielded a total of 5 full grade teams. From Kindergarten to Fifth grade, players battled with the top students across the country.
In the end PS 10, PS 33, and PS 77 all walked the Nationals stage w/top team recognition (5 Top 5 teams!).
A special thank you to all of our amazing ICN parents. Without you, none of this would be possible during these interesting times.
We look forward with new, ecstatic energy that our return will lead us to being better and stronger in 2022!
