In-Person Saturday Quads

We are thrilled to announce the launch of our Saturday USCF Rated In-Person Quads.

Space be will be very limited - make sure to register ASAP.

Our Saturday Quad series will run every Saturday through June 26th. You can find more details below.

About Saturday Quads:

Our Saturday Quads provide the (weekly) opportunity to play three equally rated players in both a competitive and supportive environment.

Players will be paired in quads, starting with our 4 highest rated players based on their LIVE rating and continuing down to our lowest rated players. We will be using the higher of the USCF classical rating or online rating.

Once all of the quad’s round games are complete, the next round will begin. You may leave on the completion of your quad.

Times:

  • 9:00 - 9:20 am - check in (players who do not check in on their technology by 9.20 am will not be paired for the days event.)

  • 9:30 am - 1st round

  • 2nd & 3rd rounds will start 5 minutes after the completion of the previous rounds.

  • Players may leave directly after the completion of their 3rd round.

Rules:

  • 3 Rounds G45, D5

  • USCF Classical Rated

  • Notation Required

Prizes:

  • $25 for going 3-0

  • $10 for winning the Quad

Safety:

  • We will cap player registration each week (first come first served).

  • Players will be required to wear masks at all times while onsite at our Saturday Quads.

  • We will have hand sanitizing stations throughout the playing hall.

  • We will take temperatures before entering the playing hall.

  • Players will complete a self certification before entering the playing hall.

Other Details:

  • There will be no indoor seating accommodations for parents. Once players enter the playing hall they will be their for the duration of the event.

  • TD has discretion to move players to avoid sibling pairing

  • No more then 2 players from the same school in the same Quad.

  • Valid and current USCF membership required
