Daily Message from Coach Russ - 2020 Summer Chess Camp
Dear Friends,
We are thrilled to announce our 2020 Virtual Summer Chess Camp & Schedule.
Traditionally our combined Manhattan and Brooklyn camps have welcomed hundreds of enthusiastic players and provided an unparalleled chess camp experience for all (read here).
Even though this summer will be significantly different, with all campers now together in one virtual space, we expect to enjoy a memorable, exciting and productive experience for all!
Summer camps have always been a highlight of our ICN programming, providing our players, teams and coaches with an accelerated learning environment where students have the opportunity to train in a competitive results driven environment while still enjoying plenty of social opportunities and summer camp fun.
In that spirit, we are thrilled to provide uninterrupted summer programming with adjustments and consideration for our new online landscape.
This summer we will once again host 9 full weeks of camp programming where our players can choose from a morning session, afternoon session or a full day session.
Each session will incorporate a combination of live lectures, USCF rated match play, post-mortem game review, social opportunities, contests and much more. Players will be grouped based on their appropriate level.
We look forward to having you join!
Additional Summer Programming:
Along with our summer camps, we will also be announcing additional programming including online league play, tournaments, additional lessons and lectures, social opportunities and much much more!

My name is Josh Price, I joined ICN to learn and enjoy chess, and that is exactly what I have gotten! I've had a welcoming experience from the coaches, the players, and the community! Through this, in just a month, I believe I have grown in my chess exponentially since I joined. I have made many friends through ICN, and I have really enjoyed my experience. I'm thankful that ICN could put together this online community, during these stressful times.
I hope to continue to grow, with this community, keep up the good work! Thanks again to the coaches, they all have helped me so much!
