2019 Grade Nationals Report
The 2019 USCF Grade Nationals held in Orlando was a special weekend for ICN players and programs across the board.
71 total players from across 7 ICN programs fielded a total of 12 full grade teams. ICN was very well represented in all 1st - 5th grade sections. Players who once competed as Kindergartners now lead their respective teams as 5th graders for the final time! Many players joined for the very 1st time and for many others it will be their final year w/ ICN programs at Grade Nationals.
In the end PS 11, PS 77, PS 33 and PS 59 all walked the Nationals stage w/ top team recognition (7 Top 10 Teams) We also had an addition 12 players who were recognized at the National level for their individual effort!! Congratulations to All!!
A special thank you to all our amazing ICN parents. Nothing happens without you! They are support, love, transport, trainers, fans, and as seen below PHOTOGRAPHERS :)
Most importantly hard work was rewarded, and our students across the board demonstrated team work, sportsmanship, grit, and a commitment to excellence.
We also hosted our 2nd Annual ICN Parents Social after round # 3 on Saturday! This new tradition has become a highlight of our Nationals experience.
New friends were made, old friends reunited and a lifetime of memories made.
We look forward with a renewed energy, excitement and commitment to return bigger, better and stronger in 2020!
