ICN's Star Student

Our Star Student of the Month is PS 77/ Lower Lab Lions very own Takki Tanaka.

He is a hard worker with a supportive team and I am not surprised with all of his continuous success. Takki is an amazing player who just over 1 years ago started learning chess with Coach Logan and played in his 1st tournament in kindergarten in November of 2019.

He shows his love for the game with his dedication.

Takki has been a part of all in person training opportunities as well as all remote training activities. He has played in our daily leagues, he has joined our summer camps and battled every Thursday for puzzle master title during power hour.

He is also a team player that shows up every Friday to club eager to learn.
