Midwinter Saratoga Prep Camp

Dear Friends and Families,

Now that our spring semester is underway, we are in full preparation for the State Championship in Saratoga Springs in March, which will include a record number of over 400 ICN players & teams. To this end, we will be running a full week of full day training during the week of February 17-21, featuring lessons & activities geared towards our players and teams competing in Saratoga, complete with rated games with Saratoga time controls (Game 60/d10). Players who are not attending the Saratoga event are welcome to attend our camp.

Our Saratoga Prep Camps will all be led by our team of ICN coaches, masters and grandmasters, who will focus on training on preparing players for deep runs at State titles, but the camp is open to all players, any age or skill level, even if they're not planning to attend the State Championship.

Saratoga Prep Groupings:

• Rookie (All players interested in learning/no previous knowledge required) - Absolute Beginners/Newcomers

• Novice (All players with USCF Rating Under 300/unrated) - Beginners 

• Intermediate (All players with USCF Rating Under 700)

• Advancing (All players with USCF Rating Under 1000)

• 1000+ - USCF Required

• Elite Club House ONLY - 1200+, 1500+, 1800+ - USCF Required
