Record Shattering Weekend at Manhattan & Brooklyn Cup!
With well over 500 competitors, our Fall / Winter Semester Manhattan & Brooklyn Cups, shattered our all time record for number of single day competitors!
In addition to the incredible competitive play, we were thrilled to welcome the newest members our of PS 11 chess team which represented members of the newly arrived refugee community.
Through our bilingual program these kids are learning & playing chess.
Not only are they playing, they are now included into a community where success is measured over the 64 squares.
A special congratulations to The PS 130 Chess Lions of Brooklyn and PS 33 Chelsea Prep from Manhattan for winning their respective cups!!!
