Summer 2020 was a smashing success as we welcomed hundreds of eager campers across both our ICN + G & T Virtual Camps. 11 weeks flew by in a flash as everyday was packed with exciting activities, engaging lessons and competitive chess play.

ICN Virtual Camp consisted of U 1000 rated players from across the boroughs of NYC. Lessons consisted of various topics that help strengthen tactical thinking and more. Dynamic chess players are very well rounded! Students participated in yoga classes, art classes and even completed trivia quizzes!

G&T Virtual Camp was attended by students from the West to East Coast of the country! Students rated 1000+ and 1500+ showed up to compete in Puzzle Rush contests and blitz games. Lessons were challenging and engaging and encouraged dynamic and tactical chess play.

Every Friday campers showed their school spirit by wearing their favorite school or chess club shirt. Team Shirt Fridays displayed camaraderie, togetherness and school pride even in summer break.

Camps may have come to an end but there is plenty more instore for the campers as they transition into the Fall! Special thanks to all the coaches and parents that helped make this summer unforgettable and such a success!
