Our 2020 Summer Chess Programming is off to a tremendous start as we welcomed over 120 daily virtual campers (from across NYC and beyond) between our AM sessions (9:00 am - 12:00 pm) & our PM sessions (1:00 pm - 4:00 pm) along with fielding three full competitive sections in our 4:30 PM Summer Chess Leagues.

The positive response to our virtual programming was much greater then we could have ever hoped and really sets the tone for an amazing summer.

Each morning campers were grouped into welcome rooms for both U 1000 & 1000 plus campers, after opening remarks, discussing the schedule and a few jokes and laughs, players were broken into an additional 10 skill groups with our All Star team of coaches leading the way! Campers enjoyed daily lessons / lectures, art projects, reviewed Shankland assigned positions, enjoyed tactics competitions, USCF rated match play, group game analysis, and much much more.
