Daily Message from Coach Russ

Dear Friends,

At the very center of our ICN programs has always been the commitment to creating "A Unique Team-First Training Approach Dedicated to Building Vibrant Chess Communities & Delivering Measurable Chess Success."

One of the core pillars of our mission is to deliver measurable chess success. In that spirit we have created many statistics and data points where you can not only track your child's progress but also understand where they perform in relationship to their peers. We strongly believe in the value of healthy peer to peer competition. This must be done in a supportive environment with the guidance of coaches, families and communities, but when done correctly the best in our students is brought out and magic happens!

Today I want to walk you through some of the statistics we have developed over the years, We encourage you to share these with your child as it will prove great motivation and inspiration to work harder each and every day. Just like baseball cards of old, or fantasy leagues, kids love numbers and tracking stats and they will work hard to be included.

Our ICN programs have produced Championship players and Team across City, State and National Events. To date we have enjoyed having nearly 100 of our players become Nationally Ranked in the United States (Top 100 players for their age). We have even enjoyed several players reaching number 1 in the United States!

Here we called it ICN magic, what it should really be called is tremendous support from our families, schools, players, coaches, administrators and the collective energy brought together through the ICN Network.

Below I have outlined our available stats. These include ICN Hall of Fame (1500 + USCF), Team Hall of Fame (1000 + USCF), Trophy Cases, Top 25 ICN Girls, ICN Puzzle Monsters, ICN Top 20 Per Grade, ICN Most Improved, ICN Most Wins, USA Top 100, ICN Top 50 List per Month, Team Puzzle Stats, Chess Club & Team Stats and our ICN News and Championship Reports.

Thanks to everyone who made these lists possible. You are truly the brains behind the operation :)

In closing, I will say TRUST THE PROCESS...HARD WORK REMAINS UNDEFEATED!
