Kaya's Kids Chess Team - Burkina Faso, West Africa
After three years of monthly financial support and patient planning we are thrilled to introduce the Kaya’s Kids chess program in Burkina Faso, West Africa. The ICN community could not be more excited and honored to partner with the Paradise Orphanage on this life changing cause!
Maybe one day there will be a cross continent match, where our NYC students can welcome their team for a competition or we can head to Africa and experience their culture while sharing the great game of chess! Either way we wish them the best of luck in their training
About Kaya’s Kids:
Kaya’s Kids, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization which exists for the purpose of providing financial support to the Paradise Orphanage in Kaya, Burkina Faso, West Africa. The Paradise Orphanage desires to address the needs of the whole person: mind, body, and spirit consistent with a compassionate Christian approach, which seeks to eradicate the systemic poverty and social injustice that is so pervasive in this part of the world.
